救我脫離世人，脫離那只在今生有福分的世人！

Hear, Yahweh, my righteous plea; Give ear to my prayer, that doesn’t go out of deceitful lips.

Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me under the shadow of your wings,

from the wicked who oppress me, my deadly enemies, who surround me.

from men by your hand, Yahweh, from men of the world, whose portion is in this life. You fill the belly of your cherished ones. Your sons have plenty, and they store up wealth for their children.

As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness. I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with seeing your form.

耶和華啊，求你聽聞公義，側耳聽我的呼籲；求你留心聽我這不出於詭詐嘴唇的祈禱。

求你保護我，如同保護眼中的瞳人，將我隱藏在你翅膀的蔭下；

使我脫離那欺壓我的惡人，就是圍困我要害我命的仇敵。

耶和華啊，求你用手救我脫離世人，脫離那只在今生有福分的世人！你把你的財寶充滿他們的肚腹，他們因有兒女就心滿意足，將其餘的財物留給他們的嬰孩。

至於我，我必在義中見你的面；我醒了的時候，得見你的形像，就心滿意足了。

Joab said, “May Yahweh make his people a hundred times as many as they are. But, my lord the king, aren’t they all my lord’s servants? Why does my lord require this thing? Why will he be a cause of guilt to Israel?”

God was displeased with this thing; therefore he struck Israel.

David said to Gad, “I am in distress. Let me fall, I pray, into the hand of Yahweh; for his mercies are very great. Let me not fall into the hand of man.”

約押說：「願耶和華使他的百姓比現在加增百倍。我主我王啊，他們不都是你的僕人嗎？我主為何吩咐行這事，為何使以色列人陷在罪裏呢？」

大衞對迦得說：「我甚為難，我願落在耶和華的手裏，因為他有豐盛的憐憫；我不願落在人的手裏。」
