猶記7年前，在神學院的一堂課，同學們輪流上台報告。有一位同班同學說：「創世記第二章之中，亞當為動物命名，其實是一個挑選配偶的過程」。老師安排每個上台報告的學生最後都必須接受台下同學的提問，我因此就直問：「請問同學，你根據什麼說『亞當為動物命名，其實是一個挑選配偶的過程』」？我永遠記得那位同學慌張且不悅的表情回答我：「這是許多論文都這麼寫」。我看向老師，老師不置可否，我也就不多說。後來我越想越不對，如果真是如此，不就與聖經禁止與動物性交衝突了嗎？在此列出我已知的經句：
利 20:15 人若與獸淫合，總要治死他，也要殺那獸。
出 22:19 凡與獸淫合的，總要把他治死。
申 27:21 與獸淫合的，必受咒詛！百姓都要說：阿們
利 18:23 不可與獸淫合，玷污自己。女人也不可站在獸前，與他淫合；這本是逆性的事。
利 20:16 女人若與獸親近，與他淫合，你要殺那女人和那獸，總要把他們治死，罪要歸到他們身上。
後來，我實在放不下心中的糾結，到了另一堂課，是系統神學課程，那堂課那位同學沒有一起修，我再把這件事私下請教我的系統神學老師。我也把當時的狀況描述了一下給系統神學老師聽。沒想到老師說，因為這問題很重要，他待上課時一起說明。以下是我記得系統神學老師在課堂的大致說法：「上課前，有位同學提問關於創世記第二章中這段經文
創2:18 耶和華神說：那人獨居不好，我要為他造一個配偶幫助他。
創2:19 耶和華神用土所造成的野地各樣走獸和空中各樣飛鳥都帶到那人面前，看他叫什麼。那人怎樣叫各樣的活物，那就是他的名字。
創2:20 那人便給一切牲畜和空中飛鳥、野地走獸都起了名；只是那人沒有遇見配偶幫助他。
同學提到在另一堂課時，有位同學說這是『亞當在動物中選配偶』，我在此跟各位同學說，很簡單，我們神學院的學生，假如有誰有這種想法，被我知道，我就讓他退學！」
我當時嚇壞了！雖然心裡覺得阿們XD
我本以為老師會以系統神學的角度說明，但沒想到老師根本不多說，直接警告！

經過這幾年以後，我人也畢業了。發現根本不需要吵是否可能「亞當從動物中選配偶」。方法很簡單，看原文！假如原文看不懂，多看一些聖經翻譯版本就好啦！
經過小弟各版本對照，發現除了"新譯本"，不僅中文"和合本"、包括之後新的譯本。依然有[配偶]二字，如果根據前後文，真的會有這種從動物裡面選配偶的fu：
呂振中譯本：
18永恆主上帝說：『那人獨居不好；我要為他造個幫助者做他的配偶。』 19永恆主上帝用地上的塵土塑造了野地各樣走獸、和空中各樣飛鳥，帶到那人面前，看他給叫甚麼；那人怎樣叫各樣有生命的活物，那就是那活物的名字。 20那人便給各樣牲口和空中飛鳥跟野地各樣走獸起了名；只是那人自己卻沒有遇見一個幫助者可以做他的配偶。

但是，新譯本這樣翻：
18耶和華 神說：“那人獨居不好，我要為他造個和他相配的幫手。” 19耶和華 神用泥土造了野地的各樣野獸，和空中的各樣飛鳥，把牠們都帶到那人面前，看他給牠們叫甚麼名字；那人怎樣叫各樣有生命的活物，那就是牠的名字。 20那人就給各樣牲畜、空中的雀鳥，和野地的各樣走獸起了名字；只是那人沒有遇見一個和他相配的幫手。
我們發現，新譯本完全沒有提及「配偶」二字，而是「相配的」。
那麼大家會不會好奇，英文譯本怎麼翻譯呢？
New International Version
The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. But for Adam no suitable helper was found.

Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. 可以發現，從老美愛用的NIV、最近的NLT、古早的欽定本、標榜忠於原文的NASB，都沒有翻譯成「配偶」，都是翻譯成與亞當「相配的」的幫助者。
寫這麼多，那麼到底原文怎麼說呢？假如原文有「配偶」，表示除了新譯本之外的中譯本翻譯成「配偶」才是原汁原味，而新譯本錯了、各英文譯本也錯了！

微讀聖經網站也產生一個圖表，可見和合本這個字，只有在這段經文翻譯成「配偶」，其他的聖經用到這個字，幾乎都是「在...之前」
所以，新譯本的翻譯，還有其他英文譯本翻譯成「相配的」，應該是比較好的翻譯。
